How to use Coupon Carrier with Jotform thank-you pages
Jotform can be used with Coupon Carrier's Redeem Link to show a unique, single-use voucher immediately after form submission.
This is useful when you want to:
- show a voucher directly on the thank-you page
- redirect the submitter straight to their hosted coupon page
- avoid sending the voucher by email first
Important requirement
Your Jotform form must include an Email field.
Coupon Carrier uses the submitted email address to identify the recipient and assign the correct voucher. If the form does not include an Email field, this setup will not work correctly.
How it works
- A user submits your Jotform form
- Jotform passes the submitted email address into your Coupon Carrier Redeem Link
- Coupon Carrier shows that recipient's unique voucher
- The voucher can then be redeemed using:
- Mark as Used
- QR code scanning
Before you start
You need:
- a Coupon Carrier account
- a Jotform form with an Email field
- an active Redeem Link configuration in Coupon Carrier
If you have not created a Redeem Link yet, start here:
How to Distribute Unique Codes Using the Redeem Link
Option 1: Add a voucher link on the Jotform thank-you page
Use this option if you want the customer to see a button or link after submitting the form.
Step 1: Copy your Jotform Redeem Link from Coupon Carrier
In Coupon Carrier:
- Go to Configurations
- Open your Redeem Link configuration
- Select Jotform as the service
- Copy the generated link
The link should include the Jotform email merge tag, for example:
https://api.couponcarrier.io/r/your-link-id?email={email}&jf_sid={id}
Do not remove or change the {email} or {id} part.
Step 2: Open your Jotform thank-you page editor
In Jotform:
- Open your form
- Go to Settings
- Open Thank You Page
Step 3: Add a button or link
Add text or a button that links to your Coupon Carrier Redeem Link.
Example:
- Button text: Claim your voucher
- Link URL: your full Coupon Carrier Redeem Link
When the submitter clicks the link, Coupon Carrier will show their unique voucher.
Option 2: Redirect directly to the hosted coupon page
Use this option if you want the voucher page to open immediately after form submission.
Step 1: Copy your Jotform Redeem Link from Coupon Carrier
In Coupon Carrier:
- Go to Configurations
- Open your Redeem Link configuration
- Select Jotform as the service
- Copy the generated link
Example:
https://api.couponcarrier.io/r/your-link-id?email={email}
Step 2: Set Jotform to redirect after submission
In Jotform:
- Open your form
- Go to Settings
- Open Thank You Page
- Choose Redirect to an external link after submission
- Paste the full Coupon Carrier Redeem Link
Now, after the form is submitted, the user will be sent directly to their hosted voucher page.
Which option should you use?
Use a thank-you-page link if:
- you want to explain the offer first
- you want the user to click a button manually
- you want more control over the thank-you content
Use direct redirect if:
- you want the fastest flow possible
- you want the voucher to appear immediately
- you are using the form as a straight "claim offer" flow
What the customer sees
After submission, the customer opens a Coupon Carrier-hosted voucher page that can show:
- their assigned code
- a QR code
- a Mark as Used button
- your custom branding and message
If the voucher is redeemed, it is marked as used and cannot be redeemed again.
How redemption works
You can use the Redeem Link with either of these redemption methods:
Mark as Used
Best for lower-volume redemptions or simple in-person offers.
Staff taps Mark as Used on the voucher page when the offer is redeemed.
QR code scanning
Best for faster or higher-volume redemptions.
Staff scans the QR code using Coupon Carrier's scanner service and the voucher is instantly validated and marked as used.

Common use cases
This setup works especially well for:
- restaurant signup offers
- bar and brewery promotions
- event registration rewards
- in-store QR signup campaigns
- car wash first-visit offers
- flyer or poster lead capture
Testing your setup
Before using the form in a live campaign:
- Submit the Jotform yourself using your own email address
- Confirm that the thank-you page link or redirect works
- Confirm that the voucher page loads correctly
- Test the full redemption flow
- Make sure the voucher is assigned only once
Troubleshooting
The voucher page does not load correctly
Check that you pasted the full Redeem Link from Coupon Carrier and did not modify the {email} value.
The wrong person gets the voucher
Make sure the form includes a real Email field and that Jotform is passing that value into the link.
The same voucher appears again when revisiting the page
This is expected. The Redeem Link always shows the same assigned voucher for that recipient.
The voucher cannot be redeemed
Check that your Redeem Link configuration is active and that the connected code source has available codes.
Summary
Jotform works well with Coupon Carrier when you want to show a single-use voucher immediately after form submission.
You can do this in two ways:
- add the Redeem Link as a link on the thank-you page
- redirect directly to the hosted coupon page
Both options require a Jotform form with an Email field.
Next step
Create your Redeem Link in Coupon Carrier, copy the Jotform version of the link, and test the full flow with your own form submission.
