How To Deliver Unique Codes in a Mailchimp Journey Using Webhooks
In a Mailchimp Journey you can add an action to send a webhook notification to a specified URL. In order to use webhooks, you must be on the Standard or Premium Mailchimp plan. If you have an Essentials or Free Mailchimp plan, you can set up the webhook and see the feature, but you'll be prompted to upgrade before enabling the journey point.
Create or edit your Code Email configuration in Coupon Carrier. Select App Event Trigger and connect to your Mailchimp account. Once you've selected your email list, choose the "Trigger when a Journey webhook is received" option.
In your Mailchimp Journey, add a Webhook action at the point in your Journey where you want Coupon Carrier to be triggered.
Copy and paste the webhook destination URL and Content payload from Coupon Carrier.
If you're sending out an email with a code in the next step in your Journey, we recommend that you add a Wait Trigger to wait for an event to ensure that the code has been added before sending the email. You can do this by configuring Coupon Carrier to apply an event once the code has been added.
